New Kitty, Dang It!

So, my roomie, Marco, and I are travelling home and he gasps. Apparently, I almost hit a kitten that I never even saw--it was sitting on side of the road. Well, I wanted to leave and let nature take its course; but, you know me: I couldn't. So, we made a big U-Turn in the street to go back, and I saw him up in the grass then. One more big U-Turn and we pulled up beside him. Thanks to Marco and a little towel I had in the car we coaxed him to come with us (even though he originally hissed at us). He meowed the whole time he was sitting there, when we got him and brought him home.

He was filthy--dirt in his ears, nose, starving, thirsty...dinner and a bath later, he's pretty much made himself at home. Here I am, like Snoopy, a mortal enemy of cats; but, what am I gonna do? Now, I have TWO! GOOD GRIEF!

I see him sleep and he twitches as if having nightmares and I think to myself: He must, sitting on side of the road--so tiny a creature--watching these horrible big giant metal machines zipping by him at 45 - 50 miles per hour; hungry, thirsty, dirty. I wonder how many other animals there are out there that are being treated inconsiderately and homeless. Makes me a little sad.
Anyway, we can spay and neuter our pets (thanks, Bob Barker), but not much to do about people.

Muley's Tiki Talent Revue Cast Revealed!

The cast of Muley's Tiki Talent Revue has been assembled. Of course, Muley the Mule, Buford the Dog, Roy Duck, Missy Mule, Pascha Dog, and Bernetta Duck will appear courtesy of Muley's Comix and Stories! Much to the satisfaction of his fans, Casino TransylVegas has found a way to loosen his contract some and we will be featuring Frankie Steinatra! Amidst the craziness, we will have an appearance by Death and the ever fearsome Santa Fish. Finally, we are going to be introducing Italy's own greatest vocal artist, The TV Theme Song Singing Opera Singer who always favors his audiences with a great version of their favorite TV Theme Songs. So, the event has shaped up to be quite a show!

Screaming Tiki Con is the second weekend of June in Niles, OH, and you can read more about it at their official website. Stay tuned here to learn more about Muley happenings and Jetta events, as well as visiting http://www.toshigawa.com/!

Star Wars In Concert

Even if you are only a slight fan of Star Wars, this is the event you need to visit. Not only is the music (whether the THX or Fox Fanfare or John Williams' beautiful music) fantastic, but there is a neat display out where you can take photos of the props and costumes from the 6 episodes. Here, you see me with my favorite Lucasfilm "Official" Muppet, Yoda.

Muley's Tiki Talent Revue

As you know, Muley's been getting everything worked up for the Screaming Tiki Con talent show he's pulled together, but we've hit a bit of a snag! Some of the talent, actually from Muley's past theatrical endeavors, won't be able to be in the show. We've discovered scheduling conflicts for Rocky Robin, Jester the Clown, Frankie Steinatra (this is just a killer for his fans), and a few others. It looks like later next week we will be revealing the full cast for Screaming Tiki Con and "Muley's Tiki Talent Revue!"

Mule on the Street: The Sivads of March

Adam Shaw reacts to the horror at hand...

It took a little bit of time to edit this documentary together, featuring the interviews from the Friday Night art show, then jumping back in time and getting things in the correct order beginning with Thursday night's panels and awards and rare footage, back to view more art of the Love and Curses Tribute Art Show, and on to Saturday and Sunday events.

Of course, it's a little different because someone removed the Mule from the "Mule on the Street" and sort of took it over...well, you'll see.

You can watch the video at Veoh.com.

Music and More!

HOLY MULE!

Muley helped Juan Salter with the childrens' sermon at First Congregational Church on Easter Sunday. When asked if anyone made mistakes, all the kids clammed up except Muley who admitted, "I made a mistake once; I thought a cool experiment might be to see if I could flush the whole roll at once." Juan asked, "It made a big mess, didn't it?" Muley replied, "Well, sure!" Juan inquired, "Did Kevin get mad at you and leave you alone?" "No," Muley said, "he helped me clean up the mess." Juan answered, "Just how, when we make mistakes, God is there to help us through our mess and he never forgets us."

It was a sweet sermon and the kids enjoyed it.

INTRODUCING: THE TV THEME SONG SINGING OPERA SINGER

One of our new cast members for our show at Screaming Tiki Con, "Muley's Tiki Talent Revue." Although Muley failed to note where TV Theme Song Singing Opera Singer comes from, we do know that his mother shortened his name: originally it was The Television Theme Song Singing Opera Singer.

Be sure to come to Screaming Tiki Con in the second weekend of June to meet the team of Jetta: Tales of the Toshigawa, Muley, TV Theme Song Singing Opera Singer, and see the Talent Revue!

Colors and Cars

Learn about Gareth Melvin, the colorist for Jetta: Tales of the Toshigawa - Last Chances online webcomic for the first time in COLOR! Click the image above to go visit the website! It is a fun article collected by myself (Kevin, not Muley) with art by Gareth Melvin.

Also, if you see this on the shelves anywhere, I'm needing this without having to pay scalper prices on ebay! It should only be $1.00, and I'll pay you back. Let me know if you buy one. It is Hot Wheels' Ghostbusters' Ecto-1.
